17 Nov 2022 7:30 p.m.

  • Zoom

On Thursday 17th November at 7.30pm, we'll be welcoming Dr Ian Bedford to give a talk on garden bugs.

Ian is a Research Entomologist & Speaker and has featured on Radio 4's Gardeners Question Time, Gardeners' World and is the go to expert on a variety of local weekly radio shows.

What are the good and bad garden bugs that we often find in our gardens and what, if anything should we be doing with them? This talk reveals some of the environmentally friendly ways of keeping plant pests under control without harming the beneficial creatures. Also, what can we do when foreign pests such as the Spanish slug invade our gardens?

We will send the Zoom link and final details to all current members in the week leading up to the event.
