Angela & Jon's Garden

A garden packed with other people’s treasures.

Plants acquired from Corner House and Museum plant sales, including a huge purple hebe (it was tiny when first planted) from Peter Bridgman and brilliant pink penstemon plants from Hugh B. Favourites of all are plants and pots, inherited from a friend’s garden when she left the area. Now we have a cornucopia of treasures from ox-eye daisies, bobbing heads grass, thalisictrum, astrantia, several agapanthus, michaelmas daisies, helibores, ornamental grasses, gorgeous (now huge) purple perennial wallflower and even a baby mountain ash complete with orange berries. Quite suddenly we have colour and interest in every area throughout spring, summer and into the autumn.
