Susan & Geoffrey's garden

Over twenty years ago, Susan & Geoffrey inherited what was originally a south facing Edwardian garden on three different levels that give the garden different areas of interest. Despite being surrounded on all sides by tall trees, the garden is wide enough to let in the sunshine.

They created most of the herbaceous borders – particularly the centre bed and the two arches, which are now covered with roses honeysuckle & clematis.

On arrival, they dug up the lower lawn to create a medicinal herb garden and also a potager. These are now surrounded by box shrubs, low hedges & topiary to which a lot of loving care has been given over the years.
